Plug in the phone
Connect an iPhone over USB. The first time, Instapium prepares it: it installs two small helper apps signed for that phone. No Xcode, no developer tooling on your Mac.
Do the routine once
The phone's screen is mirrored in the app. Tap, swipe and type through your routine there; Instapium records each step as the element you touched, with the pauses you took.
Put it on a schedule
Pick the phones, the times and the spacing between runs. Watch it live, or leave it running with your Mac closed on the desk.

Remembers elements, not pixels
A recorded tap is "the Like button", not "x 207, y 717". When Instagram moves things around, the routine still finds them.
Replays with a human rhythm
Pauses vary within a range you set, swipes follow a curve, and long holds are held. Nothing runs at machine speed.
Stops instead of guessing
If the screen isn't the one you recorded on, the run stops. A popup gets dismissed if it's a known one; a warning from Instagram halts the schedule.

It drives a real phone like a person would
Instapium taps the actual Instagram app on an actual iPhone. It doesn't talk to Instagram's servers, use its API, or run on emulators.
Instagram's limits still apply
A phone that does too much too fast gets rate-limited or warned, whether a person or Instapium is tapping. The pauses and the halt-on-warning exist for that reason, not as a guarantee.
It doesn't create accounts or use proxies
You bring the phones and the accounts already signed in on them. Instapium changes nothing about how the phone reaches the internet.
What leaves your Mac
Sign in with Apple goes to Apple. Each phone's device ID goes to Instapium's signing service so the helper apps can be signed for it. Your Instagram credentials, recordings and schedules stay on your Mac.
What you need

- iPhones over USBiOS 17 or later, with Developer Mode switched on once per phone. Wi-Fi-only connections aren't supported.
- An Apple IDTo sign in to the app. Access is tied to it, and to the number of phones your invitation covers.

Questions people ask
Is this a bot?
It's closer to a very patient assistant with your phone in hand. Every action is a tap or swipe on the real device, at a pace you set. There's no script talking to Instagram behind the app's back.
Do I need Xcode or a developer account?
No. The first time you connect a phone, Instapium's signing service prepares the helper apps for that specific device and the app installs them. You sign in with your Apple ID; that's all.
What happens if Instagram changes its layout?
Recorded steps refer to the elements you touched, so small changes are absorbed. If a screen no longer matches what you recorded, the run stops and tells you which step, rather than tapping through.
Can it type captions with emoji?
Yes. Plain text is typed; emoji and other characters the keyboard can't type are pasted into the field.
How many phones can I run?
As many as your Mac has USB ports for, within the number of phones your invitation covers. Each phone gets its own mirror and schedule.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the private beta. Pricing comes with the public release.
